About Us

Yes, we really are sisters! 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳

We’re Michelle and Sarah, the duo behind AZ Cookie Sisters. Baking together started as a fun way to combine our creativity — and it’s grown into something we’re so excited to share with all of you!

Michelle wears many hats. By day, she’s a corporate executive in financial services, and at home she’s a wife and proud mom of two young adults. Cookie decorating is her “side hustle” (and late-night obsession!), where she gets to unwind, create, and teach others the joy of decorating. When she’s not at a cookie class, you’ll likely find her at a Broadway musical, working on a puzzle, crocheting, out at dinner or the movies — or having some fun at bingo and the casino!

Sarah keeps busy as a mom to grade schoolers — including a lively set of twins — and as a teaching assistant at their school. She’s our resident “techy and crafty” genius, designing and 3D-printing the custom cookie cutters we use in every class. Her creativity and problem-solving make every project possible!

Together, we bring our different strengths to make each class fun, creative, and memorable. We’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait to decorate with you!
